District Lakki Marwat is situated to the extreme south east of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. To the north, its boundaries meet with Districts Bannu and Karak. It touches District Mianwali of Punjab to the east and Frontier Region (FR) Bhattani to the west. In south it is on the brink of District DIKhan.
Geography
The area of District Lakki Marwat is approximately 3150 square KM. It is at a height of 171.2 meters from the sea level. Its soil is sandy, sandy loam and clay.
Climate
The climate is hot and dry. But suits to all kinds of agricultural crops and vegetables subject to the provision of irrigation water.
